Today, UClean boasts of a network comprising 450+ franchises across 140+ cities of India, 1 Mn+ customers spread across 2000+ pin codes of the country. For a journey that started from a small shop in the Vasant Kunj area of Delhi, UClean is rightfully credited with ushering in the laundry revolution in the entire Indian subcontinent. All this in just about 6 years.

An IIT Bombay graduate, Arunabh carries solid amount of experience in the franchising and startup space and is widely regarded as a scale-up specialist. Arunabh is a serial entrepreneur and built and successfully sold his first startup, FranGlobal. In his previous entrepreneurial venture, Arunabh had the opportunity to very closely look at the retail space in South East Asia. He was fortunate enough to witness how the largely unorganized laundry space in the region was getting organized and this became the inspiration behind eventually starting UClean in India.

Enabling access to finance, technology, trained manpower and resources has helped UClean partner with small but passionate entrepreneurs and get them started on their own UClean journey. As UClean continues to expand across the country, Arunabh is also working in parallel on taking the brand international and the initial footprints have already been established in Nepal and Bangladesh.

Apart from UClean, Arunabh also works as an advisor to multiple brands and mentors them on their expansion and scaleup, primarily through the franchise route. Brands in the healthcare space like Remassis and Zeno Health, Used bikes retailer CredR, real estate behemoth RE/MAX are some of the brands that have benefitted from Arunabh’s expertise in their growth journey. Arunabh has been recognized by Entrepreneur magazine as 35 under 35 most promising entrepreneurs of India and he also serves on the prestigious CII Retail Panel as well as on the board of Technology Business Incubator Foundation (TBIF) for the IITs.
